Ingredients:
- 2 cups basmati rice
- 500g boneless chicken pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp biryani masala powder
- 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2-3 green chilies, sliced
- 4-5 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, biryani masala powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, and salt.
- Heat oil in a large pot and fry the sliced onions until they are golden brown.
- Add the marinated chicken to the remaining onions in the pot and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
- Add water as needed and let it cook until the chicken is tender and the gravy has thickened.
